- 2026-09-21: Unified the usage guide, source property table, and Site / AI reading entry points. Documentation only; component behavior is unchanged.
### v1.7.2 (2026-09-09)
- `motionColor` now covers every target character. Retained characters and formatting marks also join the unified per-character color return sequence; the full timing follows TextMotionSpec §2.1.
- Character-change effects retain their existing rules. Without a color setting, with animation disabled where applicable, or when reduced motion applies, the final original color is shown. Continuous updates reschedule the color sequence, and unmounting cleans up color animations.
### v1.7.1 (2026-09-08)
- Retained the existing digit replacement and interruption behavior while reusing the number formatter, reading geometry in batches, and promptly releasing replacement animations and cleanup timers.
### v1.7.0 (2026-06-15)
- Fully reproduced the character appearance and timing of `numeric-text-main`: restored `scale(0.6)` and `rotateZ(2deg)`, and changed stagger to `duration * 0.3 / number of non-empty changed characters`.
- Aligned the defaults for `transition` and `respectMotionPreference` with the reference project. TextMotion-Demo Slow Mode now works by extending `transition.duration`.
- Numeric trends again use shared `numeric.ts`, so increasing numbers roll upward and decreasing numbers roll downward.
### v1.6.2 (2026-06-15)
- Checked against `numeric-text-main` and restored the original WAAPI keyframe structure for vertical movement and blur.
- Scale and rotation remained disabled; opacity continued to control actual character entrance and exit.
### v1.6.1 (2026-06-15)
- Restored opacity changes on character entrance and exit, fixing ghosting where old and new characters both remained solid during the main animation.
- Kept vertical movement and blur without restoring scale or rotation.
### v1.6.0 (2026-06-15)
- Moved numeric content normalization into `../lib/text-motion/format.ts`.
- `character.ts` became a pure character-reassembly runtime with an injectable animator. NumericText manages its own vertical-movement and blur entrance/exit effects.
- Removed NumericText character scale and rotation; opacity was restored in v1.6.1 to complete entrance and exit.
### v1.1.0 (2026-06-15)
- Extracted character diffing, FLIP at unchanged-span edges, character entrance/exit, and changed-color lifecycle into `../lib/text-motion/character.ts`. NumericText became a thin wrapper around the shared engine.
### v1.5.0 (2026-06-15)
- `motionColor` now defaults to `undefined`, leaving text color unchanged unless explicitly set.
### v1.4.0 (2026-06-14)
- Added numeric semantic classification through `motionRole` for ordinary numbers, timers, and countdowns. Multiplication and division choose Up or Down according to whether the result grows or shrinks.
### v1.3.0 (2026-06-14)
- Numeric trend parsing now handles increasing and decreasing negative numbers plus cyclic timer/countdown comparisons of full time strings. Addition uses Up; subtraction uses Down.
### v1.2.0 (2026-06-14)
- Root `Frame` now enables default Frame motion by default. Internal character diffing runs alongside component-level `while*` and parent choreography.
### v1.1.0 (2026-06-14)
- Unified six typography Props, `motionColor`, and `as="label"`.
- Removed public Props that exposed motion implementation details.
- `respectMotionPreference` defaults to `false`.
### v1.0.0
- Added the NumericText component.
