- Borderless mode uses the resolved Input gap and actual clear-button width, fixing insufficient native-text extension at small root sizes. Measurement reuses the shared resize manager and cleans up its subscription.
- Use the actual Input content state for collapse, fixing unbound inputs remaining expanded after clearing. Do not duplicate input values, native events or business-query logic.

- Added responsive `collapseBelow`. When empty and unfocused, an explicit single-column layout reduces the control to its search icon; the former clear-button slot and gap no longer take width. Minimum width equals actual horizontal padding plus the intrinsic width of the leading Icon. Focusing or entering a value restores the real input content and interaction.
- Size observation reuses the global `resizeManager` and does not create a component-private `ResizeObserver`.

- Fixed width changes while entering text in a `borderless` SearchInput inside a shrink-to-fit host. `width: auto; max-width: 100%` replaces percentage width that fed back into intrinsic-size calculation; fill behavior in Flex and Block hosts is unchanged.
- When `borderless` has a value, the Input control keeps its original grid column so the reserved clear-button column still contributes to intrinsic width. The control extends across the gap and X column, preserving text proximity to X, layering, and fade behavior.
