- 2026-09-21: Aligned the usage guide, source Prop table, and Site / AI reading entry. Documentation only; component behavior is unchanged.

- 2026-09-02: v1.5.1 moved the continuous hover layer into Table’s local horizontal-scroll viewport for clipping, so the row background of invisible columns cannot extend beyond the table’s visible boundary.
- 2026-08-06: v1.5.0 no longer creates or mounts the continuous-hover controller when `continuousHover=false`. When enabled, it retains the same single moving layer, direct hit testing, and visual result.
- 2026-08-03: v1.4.0 consolidated Table row backgrounds into TableBody’s single moving continuous-hover layer. TableRow and TableCell no longer paint a second background layer, and row backgrounds disappear when `continuousHover` is off.
- 2026-08-02: v1.3.1 switched continuous hover to direct geometry, removing per-row ResizeObservers and full row scans on pointermove in long tables.
- 2026-06-30: v1.3.0 clarified that manual action buttons may still be TableBody children. DataTable now manages the auto-mode sentinel at its root so observer structure is not injected into a native tbody.
- 2026-06-30: v1.2.0 added `loadingSpinner`, which appends a shared Spinner row centered across columns while existing data loads.
- 2026-06-30: v1.1.1 removed the separate `skeletonRows` setting. Skeleton row count inherits DataTable `pageSize` and falls back to ten rows when unavailable.
- 2026-06-30: v1.1.0 added `loading` / `skeletonRows` and the Table Context column-registration consumer protocol; the first load of empty data now automatically renders semantic Skeleton rows.
- 2026-06-19: v1.0.0 initial release.
