SidebarSection changelog
v1.5.0 (2026-10-23)
Long titles use single-line Text and retain full accessible names without title tooltips. Arrows and actions retain their sizes, with at least 4 CSS px spacing beside the title. Header height accommodates the existing 12px icon minimum plus padding. Body layout, separators and whole-sidebar collapse timing are preserved.
2026-10-20: Localized the built-in section expand/collapse names through the shared locale and messages overrides. Dynamic language changes update the names; caller-owned titles and action labels are preserved.
2026-10-14: Fixed sections without a supplied
collapsedvalue being unable to expand again after collapsing. Controlled boolean usage, keyboard interaction, and Sidebar persistence remain intact.2026-09-21: Aligned the usage guide, source Prop table, and Site / AI reading entry. Documentation only; component behavior is unchanged.
v1.4.0 (2026-08-15)
New features
Added a built-in horizontal Separator after section content so callers need not add one manually. It shares 8px padding on all sides, zero line height, and Sidebar horizontal / vertical padding overrides with an explicit Separator inside Sidebar;
parts.Separatorremains its own configuration entry.
v1.3.0 (2026-08-06)
Changes
Connected to Sidebar Context’s persisted collapsed state. Before collapsing, Sidebar remembers which Section owns the active item; section content still unmounts on collapse under the existing rule.
v1.2.0 (2026-07-28)
Motion improvements
When Sidebar as a whole collapses, the title fades first. Only after the fade does its height, padding, and Section gap collapse, delaying upward movement of Items.
v1.1.0 (2026-07-28)
Changes
Sections with titles are collapsible by default; the title button does not show a Tooltip.
The Section action Tooltip now appears to the right of its button.
v1.0.1 (2026-07-28)
Changes
SidebarSection title rows now have 8px horizontal and 4px vertical padding by default.
v1.0.0 (2026-07-23)
New features
Initial release with a built-in section title, down-arrow collapse control, and hover / focus action area.
